Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows new posters released

Back at the beginning of January, I hailed Dark Shadows as one of my most anticipated movies of the year. Starring Johnny Depp *swoon*, Christopher Lee, Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer and, not surprisingly, Helena Bonham Carter, it would surely be hard to go wrong with such a stellar cast and the magnificent Tim Burton at the helm?!

Based on the cult television show, Depp revamps (computer malpuntion) the beloved character of Barnabas Collins, whilst Eva Green plays the vampiric playboy’s jilted lover. Set in 1752, this gothic-horror explores Barnabas’ relationships with mythical creatures from witches to werewolves after he is accidentally freed from tomb that has trapped him for two centuries (blame Angelique).

Now, less than two months from release (11 May 2012) Warner Bros. Pictures and Empire magazine has released nine fantastic new posters – and I can’t shake the feeling this film is going to be one to watch for horror fans!Dark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.netDark Shadows poster sourced from http://www.comingsoon.net

Me too. The posters look awesome, as does the trailer. A perfect combo for me – Burton, Depp, Gothic-Horror!
