Flagged as a ‘Southern Gothic Plantation Horror’, H Cubed Films presents Graveyard Dogs, an independent film set in the depths of pre-Civil War South.
The plot focuses on the relationship between a slave and the son of her owner. Their blossoming romance is threatened as mangled corpses of runaway slaves start appearing in the woods. Produced by Chris Hines, the screenplay was written by Micah Hudson who also co-directed the feature with Edwin Hammond.
Whilst it’s slim pickings when it comes to details at the moment, if the stills from the film are anything to go by then we can expect this film to be well produced, expertly directed and, above all, gritty as Hell.
