Hades – Indie Horror Short
Due to premiere at London’s Raindance Film Festival on 25 September Kevin Kopacka’s experimental Horror short Hades is a dialogue free tale of M (Anna Heidegger) who is stuck in an endless dream where she has to cross each of the five rivers of Hades, each os which represents a different stage of her crumbling relationship.
Hades was shot in Berlin on HD and Super 8. Very much inspired by 70s Euro Horror, Giallo and Dario Argento in particular, there’s a nice little nod to Sir Alfred just before the end. Kopacka is a clever old stick, aside from writing and directing he also performed the soundtrack music.
